Mega, a young lyricist of the beer-stained, student-swerving streets of the Otago. He has come up honing his skills in local performances and building networks with hip-hoppers up and down the country. He is an unassuming MC but delivers a big voice, tight flow and suburban slum savvy.One 3rd of the Dunedin crew iMC (with Ozone and Serial Chilla) Mega first gained public attention when he won the Vodafone “Rap to P-Money Beats” competition, although those that had been following his early material posted on HHNZ already knew he was an MC with a lot of promise.

In late 2004 Mega Teamed up with Esspro and Askew to record the Tomb Raiderz project, releasing his first full-length album by the age of 20. Mega Still holds it down with his crew iMC and works closely and performs with Duds city posse S.A.I.D. He has churned out a ton of fresh solo material in the past 2 years, which can be heard on both of the LXG xxxplicit mixtapes and Auckland based 44’s Stalkland Mixtape.
